Orchids - Phalaenopsis, Mokara and Dendrobium

  • Light : Place your orchid in a bright room, but not under direct sunlight.
If leaves turn yellow or splotchy, it indicates that the plant is getting too much light.

Do allow potting medium to dry out between waterings.
Check the potting medium with your finger - if you feel moisture do not water. Remember to use a well draining pot and growing media.

If your orchid is in their flowering phase, fertilizer is not needed.
  • Humidity : Orchids do not like dry air, so be sure to maintain humidity around the plant from 50 –70%.
